John Hollnagel Jr. graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science on Health Sciences. He then continued at UCF to obtain his Master of Science in Sports & Exercise Science. John then went on to Nova Southeastern University to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has previously had experience in the Montefiore Albert Einstein Acute care setting and Montefiore Wakefield in-patient rehab facility as a student. John has held a leadership position in the FPTA (as a student) and successfully lobbied for an update to the Florida PT Practice to allow Physical Therapists to practice dry needling. In the future, he looks forward to getting involved in the NYPTA and working towards passing meaningful legislation/initiatives to help advance the profession of PT in the state of NY. John played baseball in college, so he enjoys working with pitchers and overhead athletes or athletes of any sport. As well as working with the geriatric community, and anyone willing to work hard towards achieving their physical and rehab goals.
