Aleksandra Giordano
PTA
Aleksandra, whose nickname is Sasha, has been working as a PTA for six years however has been in the PT field for over a decade. She is originally from Ukraine and is fluent in Russian. Having lived in California for two years, she was able to work in a chronic pain clinic and learned a lot about the mind-body connection as well as the pain cycle. She received her degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and went on to receive her PTA degree from Union County College. Her approach is to treat the whole person versus just a diagnosis. She is passionate about hands-on rehab as well as good education regarding the anatomy of healthy bodies, injury prevention and management, while maintaining good body mechanics during everyday activities. This approach has helped to move patients into daily movement and exercise with confidence. She feels so grateful to all her patients for trusting her to walk with them on their journey.
