Dr. Thomas Gardner has been working for the last 2 plus years in the central New Jersey area. He has over 12 years of physical therapy experience while focusing on his two specialties, Manual Therapy and Sports Medicine. Originally from New Jersey, Thomas is a graduate from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ for his Bachelor’s degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Education. He obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA in 2007 and has been working across the country (including Utah, Arizona, Massachusetts, Alaska, and most recently Washington). He received his Fellowship from The American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists in 2014 (currently there are only 500 physical therapists in the United States with this designation). Dr. Gardner is proficient in treating all orthopedic issues but complex shoulder/shoulder blade issues and feet/ankles are his specialty areas. He has worked with many professional athletes including current NBA, MLB, and MLS athletes as well as members of the Seattle Symphony, Miss Fitness USA finalist, and a James Beard Finalist. He was also the head medical provider for the Rat City Roller Girls of the Seattle, WA area. On a personal note, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, hiking, camping, and being outdoors as much as possible.
